I Had a Miscarriage and I Had to Keep the Secret

You’re Never Too Old for a Miniskirt

At the beginning of May I was in New Orleans for my first wedding anniversary. It was a beautiful weekend filled with delicious food, drinks and good friends. I was really looking forward to the event, but first I had to get up early the day before. Luckily, there was an early meeting at 9:00am. But when I woke up at 6:00am I realized that my husband wasn’t at the office and was very upset. After a few minutes I knew that something was wrong. At 8:00 he finally called me in the house to go to work. When I got there I saw that he was pacing around in a very nervous manner and I knew something was going to happen. When he finally saw me he had no idea what to say, and I had to tell him that I was pregnant. And he was shocked. We had decided that we were going to keep the baby a secret. He was very happy, and I was happy. Although now he is not so happy because we have a child. I was very stressed with my first pregnancy and was very tired from work. There were no medical benefits, I had to quit my job and make sure I had enough money. I was stressed because we were not going to be able to afford to raise a child.

I was in the hospital for a week. During that time I read a few books about miscarriage and read all about things like miscarriage. But after the first week I started reading more books about birth. I went to the bookstore and bought books on the topic. After a month of reading I could not get myself to have a miscarriage. I still had to keep the secret. The day we went to the hospital was the day I came to a decision. I didn’t want to raise a child outside of my marriage. After reading all the books I wanted to share the news with the world, I decided that I would not have a miscarriage.

The next few weeks were a blur. My first child was born. And at the end of the first week my husband was told that the doctor wanted to operate on me
