Bob Saget’s widow reveals what she misses most about the comedian: ‘My shield is gone’
Bob Saget’s widow, Patricia, is opening up about how she misses being in the same room with her late husband.
Patricia, who married Saget in 1999, recently revealed that he is her guardian angel and she has been told that he is’very much alive.’ Patricia’s mother, Ann, is also a member of their family.
Patricia recently told People magazine: ‘He was a wonderful father and wonderful husband, but it was also a very demanding life because I had to take care of all of our children and everything.
‘You go to sleep, and the next morning you’re up,’ she continued. ‘I wake up at night and think, “What is going on in the world.” And he would wake up at night and think, “What is going on in the world.”‘

Saget was found dead in his room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, on April 18.
His death came a week after his father Bruce died of cancer at the age of 69. A former police officer and actor, Bruce Saget had a long involvement with the US Navy and was best known for playing the role of Admiral Halsey on the NBC sitcom “Risky Business,” which aired from 1973 to 1976. He also appeared on the short-lived series “Hornblower,” which ran on ABC in 1970.
